October in Italy

Here are a few photos from our trip to Italy.  Wedding was in a church built in 1000 to honor St Sebastian, who was martyred on the site in the Forum, behind the Colosseum where the church was built.  The painting on the altar was done in the year 200, and is believed to be the oldest known depiction of Christ in a painting.
We also toured in the Umbria section of Italy, which was the home to Etruscans in the era before the Romans.  The pictures are in no particular order, just  a few to remember the trip.
